My name is Hank Allen and I’m a semi-retired programmer and amateur photographer. I’ve worked in IT related functions since 2001. I’ve done IT support for home and business and enterprise level development for over 10 years but I’m ready to work with small businesses and individuals again.

I have experience creating Windows applications using C# and the .net Framework in Visual Studio. Most recently I’ve done web applications using PHP,  Python,  ASP webforms, JQuery and Bootstrap. I won’t say I’ve been a database administrator but I’ve done most of the things that one of them would do. Worked with SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle databases.

Some people say that I’m better at Photography than anything else. Even though I have done a few paid jobs (and a lot that I was requested to do but didn’t have the time) and social events at my former employer, I still consider myself an amateur. I have a wide array of cameras and lenses where can get most anything I attempt (within reason).
